Function – Spare Parts Purchaser with Technical Knowlegde M/V FULLTIME
Forkliftcenter is a growing international organisation specialising in the purchase, sale and rental of forklift trucks and container handling equipment. We are located in the Western Port Area of Amsterdam with branches in Spain, Dubai, Australia and Central America.
We are looking for a decisive Spare Parts Purchaser with Techical Knowledge for our spare parts department in Amsterdam.
- Processing of all orders;
- Responsible for placing purchase and sales orders of spare parts;
- Administrative & support activities of purchasing department;
- Supporting sales activities;
- Ordering goods and monitoring delivery times;
- Maintaining contacts with suppliers and subsidiaries abroad;
- Up-to-date all data in the software system;
- Ensuring that all complications/anomalies are resolved or dealt with.
- A completed MBO course, minimum level 3;
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages; Spanish is an advantage.
- You have technical knowledge of spare parts for forklifts & port equipment;
- You have experience with the MS office package and Excel and ERP software programs.
- Knowledge of customs import/export documentation / transport documentation is an advantage
